This event is a one woman play written and performed by a psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in addiction treatment. The play explores the lives of five people impacted by substance use disorder and their experiences in treatment, in the community, and in the healthcare setting.

This in-person event is a one-woman play written and performed by a psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in addiction. The play explores the lives of five people impacted by substance use disorder and their experiences in treatment, in the community, and in the healthcare setting. A talk-back with the writer/performer, Judith Austin, and other experts in the addiction community will occur immediately following the showing.
The run-time of the play is approximately 1-hour, and the talk back session will be 30 minutes. Seats are limited; please be sure to register online in order to secure your seat for the showing.
For directions, please see the attached flyer. A group will meet between 4:00-4:40 at the Boston Medical Center Crosstown Lobby at 801 Massachusetts Ave, Boston, MA 02119. We will refresh on coffee and walk over to Keefer together. This walk is ~10min. Everyone is welcome to join!

The event is intended for a multidisciplinary audience and is a part of the AMERSA Annual Conference pre-conference activities. All are welcome, but seats are limited. Please be sure to register online in order to secure your seat for the showing.
