Abbe Muller

Abbe Muller, RN, MPH, PhD (she/her)

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Abbe is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Boston Medical Center, focusing specifically on addiction medicine. Abbe has a clinical background in substance use, infectious disease, and behavioral health, including past experience working as a nurse on a dual diagnosis unit and as an infectious diseases research nurse. Her research focuses on marginalized populations in global health, behavioral health, and epidemiology. As a doctoral student, she was principal investigator of a study conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Health in Kenya to assess Hepatitis C reinfection among persons who inject drugs. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College, her BSN from the University of Connecticut, her Master's of Public Health from Boston University, and her PhD from Yale University.

Grayken Center for Addiction TTA is a program of Boston Medical Center (BMC), a 514-bed academic medical center located in Boston's historic South End and the largest safety-net hospital in New England.
