A Resource for Healthcare and Social Services Professionals
Danna is the manager and co-facilitator of Boston Medical Center's OBAT Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) programs. In this role, she interfaces with community health centers, health care professionals, specialists, and OBAT staff to ensure the operations of the tele-mentoring clinics. Danna has been managing higher education and nonprofit programming for over 20 years. In addition, she has worked with youth and families in Chicago and served as a clinician in a community health center working with youth, couples, and families. Between 2008-2011, Danna worked in Cairo, Egypt, providing clinical and psychosocial support to refugees from Sudan, Iraq, Ethiopia, and Eritrea. Danna holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Graduate Diploma in Forced Migration and Refugee Studies from The American University in Cairo.
