Boston TAAB Study, Taking Place in BMC’s OBAT Clinic, Featured in Addiction Professional

The NIDA-funded TAAB Study recently started enrolling patients within BMC’s OBAT clinic, with the aim of finding out whether technology-driven directly observed therapy can help improve adherence to medication for addiction treatment. Intervention study participants will use the eMocha mobile app over a 12-week study period in order to film short daily videos of themselves taking their buprenorphine.

Alicia Ventura, MPH, OBAT TTA’s Director of Special Projects and Research, was recently interviewed by Addiction Professional for an article about the research study.  To read the article, click here.
