Topic: ECHO
As part of the twice-monthly MA OBAT ECHO® series, Julia Calandra, PharmD, BCACP, will develop interdisciplinary models of low-barrier hepatitis C care that improve coordination between addiction treatment, medical, and harm reduction services and describe principles of low-barrier, person-centered hepatitis C care and their role in reducing disparities among people who use substances. She will also apply practical strategies for integrating hepatitis C screening and treatment into addiction medicine and harm reduction settings, including models such as group care. The didactic session will be followed by a de-identified patient case presentation from an ECHO® participant, along with recommendations from the panel of experts and attendees.
